Our Atlanta Support Group will be meeting on Thursday, September 16th, @ Emory University Hospital, 6:30pm-8:30pm, Classroom A. During this meeting, I plan to present some of the information that we learned @ the Symposium, including the exciting new study presented on the use of Rituxan for the induction of remission in ANCA associated vasculitis. The physicians who attended the meeting are the experts in the field of vasculitis and were very gracious and informative throughout the week-end. You will be receiving further details about the meeting soon. If there are major conflicts with this date, please let me know in the next few days so I can see if it's possible to change the meeting date. I also want to encourage each of you to participate in the Keesha Vessel Walk organized by Diann Alford in memory of her daughter to raise awareness of vasculitis and funds for the VF on Saturday, September 18th.
